Dubai II
2nd day
Early morning, we went to Abu Dhabi, another city-state or rather the capital of United Arab Emirates. Don't be mistaken that Dubai is the capital, it is not. Abu Dhabi has the neatest and most beautiful houses and architecture. Its seas were so crystal clear that it really sparkles under the sun! Went to the Palace Hotel, an 8th star hotel. MAGNIFICENT. SPECTACULAR. like what its name suggests, the hotel is really really palatial! you just go " whoa!" The hotel has some designer labels shops eg, Dior and Prada. There were gazillion ppl inside the TOILET TAKING PHOTOS. the toilet is like 2x bigger than the 404 classroom! As we passed by the entrance of the hotel, i saw TONY BLAIR, BRITAIN'S PM. i just went OMG OMG OMG, IT'S TONY BLAIR! IT'S TONY BLAIR! He was surrounded by 5-6 BEEFY bodyguards but i managed to catch a glimpse of him anyway. HAHA. I didnt really notice him at 1st because one of his bodyguard is really good-looking. HAHA. Roger, yes even roger was excited. I feel so honoured when Blair walked past me! Don't tell me stuff like " hey he's just another human". I WILL JUST WHACK YOUR HEAD UNTIL IT BLEEDS. ha!
Then we went to the Heritage Museum into the hawk museum. All the hawks there were trained and for sale. They cost millions of dollars! A camel cost only a thousand or two!
Noon time, went for Desert Safari. Went on a jeep with 2 italians and a canadian. Driver was a Pakistani. The sand there was a dazzling hot red and fine. The journey was an enjoyment initially when the jeep swayed here and there in the sand. Then, it became a torment as everyone began to feel nauseous and dizzy. Amma glad that chewing a gum did help! haha. The sunset was just so picturesque, so breathtaking. You could see miles and miles. snap photos after photos. went back to the entrance where we settled down for arabian bbq whilst watching belly dancing. The russian was a horrible dancer with little new movements. suay. went for henna painting! After dinner, mom and i went for camel-riding. It was plainly TERRIFYING. The camel was freaking big and tall and THERE WAS NO SAFETY BELT OR ANYTHING. I nearly fell down and mom got a bruise on the back when the camel began to erm.. run. Cold sweat.
shall type part III another day.
