Let me just blog my trips finished.

Dubai part III

The last day, we went to the other state, Ala Sarjah. Very very beautiful houses( like those in fairytales!) and lakes and seas, typically crystal-clear sapphire waters. went to the wildlife centre there and the lady @ the counter insisted I wear their clothes in because my shorts are too short. Lacey said dubai is the most "open-minded" state and the rest were not quite so. Anyway, i saw an OMG sight. LOL. i saw 2 baboons, one of them probably, has some kind of disease, scratching and LICKING each other's erm.. swollen butts. yucks isnt it! saw the scorpions and rats display. We then proceeded to the city museum. The architecture in UAE is really special with each theatres having a unique design. WHOA

At midnight, we went to this racing car place. IT IS REALLY AN F1 GRAND PRIX alike! The really rich kids there owned their own racing car and they get to book the majestic place for their practice! Me and momma queued up for our turn and we waited for a freakking 2 hours! It was like 100 dirrhams ( S$40) per person for 15 mins!! Super ex! IT WAS PLAINLY THRILLING AND SCARY. I was scared out of my wits. I was the youngest adult among the 20 ppl, who are mostly rich experienced caucasians who raced for leisure. My racing car just speeded off and i had a hard time controlling it. Some of the others who WERE PLAINLY MEAN kept bumping into mine on purpose. In 15 mins time, you were supposed to finish 15 rounds for the skilled ones and erm.. i completed only 7, which is ONLY HALF. LOL. Expectedly, i came last and momma came in the second last. HAHA. so funny! But it was really a memorable experience! I can announce proudly that I AM A CAR RACER, just that i amma lousy one.

So, my conclusion to my trip to the UAE is that PLS BRING ENOUGH $$. You can really enjoy yourself there IF YOU HAVE $$. Dubai is big and if you have $$, you can owned probably anything there. yatch, racing car, ship(big ones mind you) and lots and lots of cars becuz cars there were cheap! Visit UAE the next time and you will experience a really different culture!

Desaru/Kota tinggi

Went for a one-day trip @ desaru and kota tinggi. Quite fun i must say. Visited the chocolate factory, ostrich farm and fruit farm@ desaru and proceeded to the firefly reserve @ kota tinggi. As we travelled into the red forest reserve in a ferry, some of the fireflies stalked us and one landed on my shoulder!

Tour guide: quick! let it return to its mates! if not, it will get lost!

and so i blew it lightly, i swear it was really a light breath. and i think it ended up in the sea or smth. I KILLED A FIREFLY.

I went to xiuying's church celebration with xy and Sally. Xy and me queued up for a long time as there were freakking lotsa ppl. BUT everything's worth it! The drama is really really hilarious! it was really professional! We then went to NTU for lunch with xy's church friends.
